Jet Ski License Exam in English

This spring the JMRA apparently is NOT offering a jet ski license exam in English. Contact Tony Whitman for updates if this should change.

New for Class 2: No health check and leave your jet ski at home

New for the Class 2 license process is the surprising elimination of a doctor's health examination of test-takers, which had been required for the former Class IV license. Instead, eyesight, color blindness and hearing exams will be given during the first hour on the day of the examination. This is a welcome reduction in the bureaucratic red tape that plagued the licensing regulations for more than 15 years.

Another change is that the Class 2 license does not cover the use of personal watercraft (jet skis). Previously, this was permitted for Class IV holders. A separate jet-ski license is now required.

Sorry, TSPS does not teach a jet ski course at this time.
