Marine Library & Book/Video Swap

Free Book and Video Library

Having a hard time locating books on your favorite pastime? Has your diesel engine started smoking, or do you crave an armchair weekend reliving your previous life before the mast?

TSPS once again brings the world of the sea to you, this time in literary form, through our newly instituted *free* Marine Library & Book/Video Swap.

Included are a number of classic sea tales as well as several resource books on troubleshooting equipment problems, and a small but growing list of sailing videos. (There's even a West Marine Catalog, circa 2003.)

The only requirements to participate:

• You must pick up your books/videos in Hamamatsucho, and mail them back in.
• No more than two titles may be checked out at one time.
• You must bring or mail your selections back within 1 month.
• You must be a current member of the Squadron.

And if you have marine-type books or videos you don't mind contributing, we invite you to add them to the growing list of shared titles.

You can download a PDF document that lists all current titles, authors, a brief description of the book or video, and their availability. We try to update the listings on a regular basis, but if you find your title has already been taken, pick another or try back again.

Phone ahead and confirm if the title is available and someone is there when you want to go.
